Make-a-Wish Room Makeover
I recently got the opportunity to help out with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Washington.
After helping out with Electron Boy (http://www.northwestwishes.org/wishes/ElectronBoy.asp) wish at my current job (Puget Sound Energy) last year (that went global), I knew I wanted to help out more.
A teenage girl named Alex that had ALL had wished for a room makeover. I was asked to take photos before and after, which seemed like a great project, especially since it was near my neck of the woods.
I traveled out 2 separate days to capture photos and video of the room before and during construction. On reveal day, I worked with the MAW volunteers to get some photos of the finished project along with some video. I also mounted some static video cameras to capture the surprise.

Everything worked out great, and Alex was so surprised!

It always feels great to give back to your community, so think about doing your part, whatever that may be.
